The 1.07 MWp solar project redefining energy efficiency for Qualicaps
Savings and sustainability: the Ensys solar solution
In a context where financial efficiency blends perfectly with environmental responsibility, solar solutions are becoming essential for forward-looking companies. Our 1.07 MWp project for Qualicaps, now nearing completion, is not just a step towards a cleaner environment but also a smart strategy for reducing operating costs.
Lower energy costs
One of the most significant benefits of adopting solar panels is the substantial reduction in energy costs over the long term. By capturing and converting solar energy into electricity, companies can reduce their reliance on traditional energy sources, actively lowering their monthly bills while contributing to a greener environment. In Qualicaps's case, the financial projection expects the investment to pay for itself within 5 years, with cumulative self-consumption savings over 15 years reaching more than €1.58 million.
Through the system we implemented, Qualicaps will reduce its carbon emissions by an impressive figure: around 336,638 kilograms of CO₂ saved in the first year of operation alone. These numbers reflect a strong commitment to real, lasting change in protecting the environment.
The technical concept: longevity and low maintenance costs
Modern solar panels such as the LONGi LR4-54HIH-410M — 2,610 units in total — not only deliver high performance but also require minimal maintenance. With a long service life and very low degradation rates, the initial investment in these technologies becomes a long-term benefit. Low maintenance costs help improve the system's payback over time, giving Qualicaps a competitive advantage. In addition, our project uses 10 three-phase Huawei SUN2000-100KTL-M1 on-grid inverters.
We also installed an energy metering station, two anti-islanding relay systems, an emergency stop button and two smart loggers to monitor system efficiency and resolve any issues quickly. To encourage the adoption of electric vehicles, we included two EV charging stations as well.
