Ensys announces two strategic investments: a lithium battery gigafactory and a green hydrogen plant

Ensys, part of the ATNOM Group, is announcing two strategic investments that mark the company's move from solar systems towards complete, utility-scale energy assets. The combined value exceeds €80 million.
A lithium battery gigafactory near Craiova
The first investment is a lithium battery gigafactory with a capacity of 1 GWh per year, located near Craiova. The project also includes medium- and low-voltage (MV/LV) switchgear and its own substations, so that the full production capacity can be integrated into the grid safely.
A green hydrogen plant in Bihor
The second investment is a 15 MWe green hydrogen plant in Bihor county. Powered by renewable sources, the plant will produce more than 1,500 tonnes of clean hydrogen a year, helping to decarbonise industry and transport.
From power to fuel
The two projects reflect the ATNOM Group's vision — "from power to fuel" — and strengthen Ensys's position as an EPC contractor able to deliver complex energy projects end to end, from generation and storage through to grid infrastructure.
