Granting monitoring and configuration permissions in FusionSolar

In some situations, the installer or administrator of a solar system needs to grant monitoring and configuration permissions to another person or company, directly from the FusionSolar app. This guide explains the basic steps.

Step 1: Sign in to FusionSolar

Make sure you are signed in to your FusionSolar account with the administrator role for the plant you want to grant permissions for.

Step 2: Open plant management

From the plant menu, go to the user and permission management section. Here you can see the users who already have access and their roles.

Step 3: Add a user and a role

Add the desired user (by account or email address) and select the appropriate role — for example, monitoring rights (view only) or configuration rights (changing the inverter's settings). Grant only the permissions that are strictly necessary.

Step 4: Confirm

Save your changes. The user will receive access according to the role assigned and will be able to monitor or configure the plant from their own account. Permissions can be revoked at any time from the same section.
